What are some good topics to talk about for the rainforest in Peru? |
Travel Info I have to do a project for Spanish and I need to subtopics of the rainforest in Peru to talk about. Any ideas? Travel Tips I just went to the Amazon in Peru during vacation last week, and it was amazing. I stayed at Posada Amazonas and it's a lodge that passes on a good portion of its profits right back to the community. Talk about how tourism affects ecology, how the world needs to discover just how much the Amazon has to offer medicinally, how tourism can be conducted without depleting or debilitating the earth, how tourism can give back to the community. Indeed, a number of decent sized towns in the San Martin district had their starts from logging companies. There's also the effect of farming, possibly touching on the economic progress of Peru through agressive farming campaigns versus environmental impacts. Maybe you could take a tourist type of approach and speak of the beauty of some of the natural wonders, such as the waterfalls outside of Tarapoto or Largo Azul near the town of Sauce. Just a few ideas. |
