After traveling for some months, many of the Europeans decided to stay in the towns they stopped by because of the toughness of the road. At the end, the journey stopped at the valley of Pozuzo, in the region of Oxapampa, where they built the town of Pozuzo. They didn't go further because it was too hard to keep going through the rain forest. A second ship with more colonists arrive after some years. However, this new colonists also went to Pozuzo and decided not to go further. Because of that, Pozuzo is known for being the most important German colony in Peru. I'm from Peru |
