Where on internet can I buy a cheap but recent travel guide (to Peru)? |
Travel Info I'm based in London ebay doesn't seem to help right now, I think Travel Tips Try Amazon.com, www.lonelyplanet.com, www.roughguide.com Just check on the dates. A word of advice from a very seasoned traveler. Don't skimp on this expense. People spend thousands on a trip but don't want to fork over the 20euros for a decent travel guide. You are doing yourself a big disservice. Buy two or three, and read them all. Take the parts you like, highlight the heck out of them, tear pages out, make a folder and take that with you. Also, get yourself a map and draw on it, make dates where you want to be when, etc. It will help put things into context. Also, get yourself some penpals. There are websites for this, and you can do a quick and easy search. Who better to ask for advice than the locals? try www.ppi.com (penpal international) Good luck and happy travels!
