Travel Info I am planning on going in second week in Febuary 2007 Travel Tips February is one of the best month to visit Peru, It is always sunshine, hot and humid. It is not expensive but could be, if you stay in top hotels (they ll charge as if you were in Paris) on a budget travel expect something like 60 dollars a day include food hotel and transportation. Others Peru is a great place if you're specifically interested in Peru. I would definitely put it in the top 10 countries to visit in Latin America. Cost... will be approx. 1/2 of what you'd pay in Miami or Orlando... maybe less. This will depend on how savy you are and willing to live like a local while you're there. And yes, that would be a great time to visit because you would be in the summer and would get to go to the beautiful beaches! Places that are great to visit: 1) Nazca Lines (You have to see it from an airplane but that is rather expensive) 2) Machu Pichu 3) The Jungle! (With a tour guide and a group) 4) The capital Lima! (There is alot of places like museums and a palace! 5) The coast Trujillo! There are beautiful beaches! 6) There are Excursions such as the ruins of the city Chan Chan 7) For the beaches, you can go surfing or you can go in a "Cabalitos de Totora" which is a Peruvian water craft! 8) There is DELIOUS food ALL OVER THE COUNTRY!!!!!
