I would like to know the time difference between Peru and and the Midwest (Wisconsin)? |
Travel Info I am planning on going to Peru. I would like as much information on the language spoken if they understand english. If it is safe for an american who does not speak the language or does not know the area? I would like as much information as possible on expecially Lima Peru. Thank you Travel Tips in Lima the safest place to stay for a tourist is San Isidro, and Miraflores (the suburrbs) avoid downtown Lima, when visit Lima because of, architural cathedral, museums; do it with a guide tourist. Peruvian people are very friendly especially with the tourist, but do not trust too much, ergo if you want to have a picture do not give your camera to the locals maybe your camera will be robbed. Try taxis that work with the hotels, avoid the informal ones, since taxis are very cheap in Lima. The best cafes and restaurants are in Miraflores. Others Peru is one hour ahead, same as the East Coast - GMT -5 hours. What is the difference between night and day. Lima is about the only place I like in Peru. The barrios of Miraflores and San Isidro are as nice as any place in the world. I like the climate especially in the winter when it is hazy all the time with the temperature about 60 Fahrenheit. You will have to learn Spanish not many people can speak English You will have to watch your back more except for parts of Milwaukee.
