How do you get to the Nazca Lines?

I will be traveling to Peru shortly and was wondering how to fit the Nazca Lines into my itinerary. I was told that the only way was an 8 hour bus ride from Lima with an overnight in Nazca - I may not have enough time to do this. Is there any other way of seeing the Nazca Lines or is this the only option?
