A British company planning to develop a copper mine in Peru, got a takeover offer from a bidder.The offer was at a ``modest premium'' to yesterday's closing share price of 257.5 pence ($5.05)- (Dec22/06)
The company's Rio Blanco project in Peru is one of the world's ``top 10'' copper mines
