Does anyone have any info on Peru?

I am making a bon voyage card for a friend who is going travelling in Peru. I would like to add any quips e.g. how to ask for 2 beers, some interesting facts about some of the sights etc. True facts would be much appreciated.

erm..... 2 beers is dos cervezas por favor. The national tipple is a kind of home brew made from maize called chicha. Slang for a girl is chibola and the Peruvians are very good looking. Something like 80% of the worlds coca (raw material of cocaine) is grown in Peru. Peru was the centre of the Inca empire and the ancient Inca capitol was Cuzco. Quechua (the language of the Incas) is Peru's second official language and is still spoken by about 15 million people (not all of them in Peru). The Amazon river begins life in Peru where it is called the Rio Apurimac. The Peruvian department of Madre de Dios is considered to be one of the most biodiverse areas on the planet. Peruvians hate Chile which they fought an (unsuccessful) war with and lost a lot of territory! They also hate Ecuadorians and are involved in a border dispute with them. I love you is te amo.
