You can see a representations of the Inti Raymi (this is an ancient party the incas did to celebrate the solstice of winter or summer ) this is celebrate every 24 of June at Sacsayhuaman (located near the main plaza of cuzco is about 5min buy car) www.operu.com if you need a place to stay in Lima Try to avoid going there between January - April, there is a high chance it will rain. Although, Cuzco is very well known for having the best New Year's Eve celebration. Best time weather wise would be June - August. |
