Travel Tips Hi Matt, every Sunday in El Comercio there is a huge section of job offerings and I have always spotted one or two hotel openings for various positions. MAybe you have already checked there but it's worth the try. I also recommend you go to the major hotels and leave them your resume. There's Marriot (Miraflores), Sonesta Posada del Inca (San Isidro), Sonesta El Olivar (San Isidro), Park Plaza (Miraflores), Los Delfines (San Isidro), Swisshotel (San Isidro), El Polo Apart hotel (in front of the american embassy) You can also try leaving your resume in the american embassy, in the consulate section as they may find a position for you in a company or an hotel. Anyhow, good luck! Others A lot depends on what kind of visa you have. The best way is to have a contract from overseas. There are a lot of security companies in Peru for obvious reasons, unfortunately salaries in general are very low. You might be better of starting your own business. Good luck! Starting your own company is very tedious and bureaucratic. Its better to work for an established company. And salaries are not that bad in Peru if you're qualified. |
