It all depends on how much you want to pay for tolls? Utilizing major Thruway: Merge onto I-76 W toward VALLEY FORGE. 12.6 miles Map Merge onto I-476 N via EXIT 331B toward PLYMOUTH MTG (Portions toll). 115.5 miles Map Merge onto I-81 N via EXIT 131 (Crossing into NEW YORK). 124.5 miles Map Merge onto I-690 W toward FAIRGROUNDS / BALDWINSVILLE. 8.8 miles Map Merge onto I-90 W / NEW YORK STATE THRUWAY W via EXIT 1 toward BUFFALO (Portions toll). 131.0 miles Map Merge onto I-290 W / YOUNGMANN EXPY via EXIT 50 toward NIAGARA FALLS. 9.8 miles Map Merge onto I-190 N / NEW YORK STATE THRUWAY toward NIAGARA FALLS (Portions toll). 7.8 miles Map Take the R. MOSES PKWY exit- EXIT 21- toward NIAGARA RESERVATION / STATE PARK. The Robert Moses Parkway will head toward the Niagara Falls, NY and Niagara Falls, ON border checkpoint This will work fine but you pay tolls (for high speed limits 65/mph until you hit Buffalo area which goes down to 55mph). The other exception is Binghamton (55/mph) Provided by Mapquest.com ------------------------------... To cut some distance and tolls (Note, there are constructions which bring the speed limit to 45 or 55 mph) 1) Once you get to I-81 2) Take Rte 17W (I think it is I-86) and head toward Elmira and Corning (once you get to Binghamton) This is a 55mph limit until you hit Elmira (and that point it is 65 straight through) 3) Take the I-390N (heading toward Rochester) Checking from Microsoft MapPoint and my driving, take the original route (do it on MapQuest) and my driving time (I drive all around western NY), there are so many construction. Have fun in Niagara Falls Its awesome. Mapquest it. They are usally very good. Toll roads do cost but will make the trip much faster. Bring a passport or birth certificate,so you can hop across the boarder, the US side is not nearly as nice. 416 Miles, 6 hours and 46 minutes http://www.mapquest.com/directions/main.... Hey get on www.mapquest.com and it will tell you the fastest root there and you can also take it back. I went to Niagra Falls Canada from here in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma and it took us about 16 hours to get to the detroit border and we crossed there!!! We ended up living there in the Falls for a year!!! |
