Others Because they are greedy pigs they think they're pimps but in the end they get caught and look and feel stupid To have a backup in case things go wrong with girl # 1. Also, It makes them feel like a stud. Keeping their options open, in case one falls through. Also, one girl is usually being used purely for sex, while the other has more of an emotional connection. It may be a Madonna/whore complex in this case. Because women are more attracted to men who have someone. Thus presents the second woman of her own accord generally.
