Others Come on "down the shore" come to the Wildwoods (near Cape May)in Southern Jersey. About 1.5 hrs from philly. I live here Got to Seaside Heights it's nice there Have you seen a invention called a "map", lately??? Bethlehem,PA is over 60 miles due East from the Atlantic Ocean. And that is as the crow flies. So define close? Closest is probably the Central NJ shore area. Most ppl from that area go to the shore in Central Jersey...Point Pleasent is a great choice. They have a great boardwalk & Clean beaches. Jenkinsons...which is the boardwalk company has a website where they list the activities including movies on the beach & specials for the rides.
