Whats the cheapest and quickest way to get to pittsburgh from nyc?

i'm traveling to pittsburgh with a group of friends for labor day weekend.

Cheapest = Bus
Quickest = Fly

nothing is cheap and quick you gotta choose one BEST tradeoff is RAIL
I'm from Jersey and I think the train is best--try Amtrak
greyhound, unfortunately. last time I went the round trip was 80-100 bucks I think. if you ALL travel together I think you can get a group discount. however you ALL have to sign up early. might be too late for that but doesn't hurt to try
From NYC to Pittsburgh - take I-80 West to PA 28 South which takes you right into Pittsburgh. Probably a 5 hour trip once you leave the GW Bridge.
Familiarity with Pittsburgh area.
