corn is a big thing of course, but the one that stands out in my mind is mushrooms. There are a lot of cattle and horses as well.

The biggest source of Mushrooms on the East coast is in Kenneth Square, Pa. In fact Sept. is Mushroom Month in PA.... Dairy farming is big. OF course besides farming we have food industries like Heinz foods( the ketchup guys), Herr's & Utz snack foods( chips &pretzels). There is a number of dog breeders in Lancaster Co.
