In Philly for one night, what to do? |
Travel Info I'm in Philadelphia for the weekend working. Tomorrow night is free time with my co-worker, what should be do? Something that is close to the airport. Travel Tips That's a toughie. There is nothing close to the airport. Share a cab up to The Art Museum. Walk around behind the Museum at night, look out on "Boathouse Row" ... truly beautiful. Walk down Pine Street between 13th and 6th - lots and lots of antique stores. Walk down South Street (2nd and 6th). Go into Jim's steaks - but eat one at PAT's!!! Remember, this is the city where liberty was born. Sadly, it is now the most corrupt city on the east coast. Take a moment and be grateful for your freedom. .y close to the airport. go clubing!! the same thing you do every night - Yahoo Answers Get an authentic Philly Steak and Cheese sandwich, and eat it. I thought the song was "One night in Bangkok?" Well, close to the airport?? Temple Univ. Football game on Sat. Then a short drive to Columbus Blvd. and hit the clubs or Dave & Busters. In between is Penns landing and the river attractions. You have a choice of clubs, food & shopping all on one road. For one night, Delaware ave. (Columbus Blvd. ) is your best bet. It's a shame it wasnt last Friday night. The first Friday of the month is an Open House (called First Friday) at many of the galleries and shoppes in Olde City. They stay open late often serve nibbles and welcome all. Hope you enjoy Philadelphia no matter what. |
