Going to Langhorn, PA. Anything fun to do there? |
Travel Info Leaving today, staying until Sunday, what's fun to do there??? Travel Tips Vist car dealers....... Other than that, not much. All there is in Langhorne is a miles worth of car dealers, a small mall, some strip malls, and that lame Sesame Place( go to a real park like Six flags or Dorney park). Others Sesame Place is there. It is also close to New Hope and they have a great town for walking around and shopping. Nice restaurants and a Playhouse. Sesame Place, espeically if you have children. Great fun for adults too!!! Sesame Place (in Langhorne) and shopping in New Hope. Can also hop on PA turnpike and go down to Valley Forge to King of Prussia Mall (30 mins). It's HUGE and they have everything from Louis Vuitton store to Sears. Outlet shopping at Franklin Mills (15 mins). Philadelphia Race track in Bensalem (15 mins). Hop on 95 south (30 mins) to South Street in Philadelphia with eclectic mix of stores and restaurants and open until late at night. I'm from Philadelphia and I work in Langhorne. I guess it depends upon your age and interests. Like everyone says, Seasame Place... But Langhorne is known for it's dozens of car dealers, restraunts, and the Oxford Valley Mall (and other local shopping). If you like club like bars, head up Route 1 north,and take the exit immediately after crossing the river. Katmandu is right there in front of you, and is very nice. There is also a ballpark right there, the Trenton Thunder. It looks like they have a home game Sunday. Check out their website. Of course, you actually can get onto Interstate 95, and have a great time in Philadelphia, so have a great weekend. |
