Travel Tips
Ridley Creek State Park.
Ridley Creek State Park encompasses over 2,606 acres of Delaware County woodlands and meadows. The gently rolling terrain of the park, bisected by Ridley Creek, is only 16 miles from center city Philadelphia.

It's a really beautiful weekend getaway spot....I guarantee! Source(s): http://www.dcnr.state.pa.us/stateparks/p...

Other Travel Tips
try Exton it is beautiful
seven springs, hidden valley they are resorts
Try the Dealware River Water Gap. It's literally the easternmost point of I-80 in PA (the bridge crosses the river into NJ there). It's a beautiful area with a ton of camping and lodging. The river is clean--almost spring-like--up there and the valleys are covered in trees. There must be some sort of sight-seeing tour for the changing of the leaves...it'd be a terrible waste not to.
