Bus service to Philadelphia, PA from Allentown,pA? |
Travel Info How to get to Philadelphia, PA from Allentown,PA by bus Travel Tips Greyhound apparently doesn't serve Philadelphia from Allentown, but Carl R. Bieber Tourways does. Here's their Web site's schedule page: http://www.biebertourways.com/schedules.... Just select "Reading-Kutztown-Allentown...... from the drop-down menu. You should be able to buy the ticket online. The Bieber Tourways terminal is located at Hamilton and Race Streets. The schedule will take you to the Greyhound terminal in Philadelphia, since different bus companies operate from that location. That is located at 1001 Filbert Street. Source(s): Found Bieber Tourways on Greyhound.com's Allentown to Pittsburgh schedule, which shows a transfer from Bieber to Greyhound in Philly going on to Pittsburgh. When entering Philadelphia as the end point on Greyhound.com, the run appeared as unavailable because a carrier other than Greyhound operates it. However, that portion of the trip will show as a transfer if the end location (like Pittsburgh) is a Greyhound schedule. I work for the company, so I know how to get around these kinds of things. Other Travel Tips What about Amtrak? Well SEPTA does not have service to Berks county. A previous answerer has said Greyhound lacks service. I think you have a problem..... Your best bet is other bus firms like Peter Pan & those who operate in the Allentown area. They are tour services to Dorney park I'm sure. |
