Philadelphia Shout out: Please tell me what is your favorite place to go out in the evening and why?

I am thinking of visiting there and want to know the best places to go out in the evenings for eats drinks and having fun.

Travel Tips
As Lana mentioned, along Columbus Blvd is where you'll find the clubs. If you're around college age, you might want to hit a place in University City, such as New Deck Tavern (very busy all through the school season). If you prefer something a little more trendy and somewhat sophisticated, check out places around Rittenhouse Sq or Old City (this is the area generally around where the Liberty Bell is and to its east), but bring a fat wallet for those places!

Others
The riverfront/ Penn's Landing or more properly Columbus Blvd ( Still known by most as Delaware Ave) Over a mile of Clubs, Resturants, Shopping, ships, condos along the Delaware river. Personal favorite of the bunch? Dave & Busters. A converted warf turned resturant/arcade/bar. Great for all, and has it's own parking. It's expected own of the new slots parlors ill be on the riverfront as well. The whole ave. has something for all in day or night. Better in Summer than winter.

A couple great restaurants...Cafe de Habana (try the pomegranete margarita and the spicy crab soup {not nec. together}) up around 21st & Market. Mexican Post on 2nd & Chestnut (Fajitas enough for two plus a pitcher of frozen margaritas for less than $25). Both places are fabulous food, great service, eclectic people and decor.
I like Cuba Libre; Morrimotos (from the Iron Chef - America); Jack's Firehouse - all for dinner. There are too many places for drinks to meniton; for clubs, I really like the Palmer at 6th and Spring Garden Streets.
