Moving to Allentown,Easton Area of Pennsylvania, Is this a nice place to live? |
Travel Info I cant seem to find many good things on Pennsylvania, especially allentown, easton area?! My husband and I are moving there, and Im scared it might not be a good place! Please give any opinions or insights to this area!! Thank You! (Also if these areas arent good, what areas are?) Travel Tips I've been to Easton, it isn't really that nice. Allentown is very cute and family centered but it depends on what area of Allentown you are moving to. Areas around Allentown like Scranton, Harleysville, Bethlehem and Quakertown are very nice. Good luck. Others YES IT IS IT IS GREAT I thought it looked a little decrepit. I kind of liked the Bethlehem area though. However, I don't think it's cheap to live there. It is a nice area....lots to do....very expensive. But just like in any "city" area you do have some not so good parts of town Define "good"? It's one of those cute terms I can't stand to hear. It's Not Shangri La But it's not Detroit ethier........ Small older former industral towns. Last time I was up that way found them kinda boring. A place kids join the army to get way from. Nothing worth being scared over. Very cold winters but close to skiing |
