What is the deal if I drive to Princeton And grab the train to NYC? Is this the best way to go from Philly? |
Travel Info I was wondering do you have to pay for parking once you get to Princeton? How long does it take to drive to Princeton from Center city Philly starting at 10 am? Travel Tips Parking in Princeton Junction Station (I guess this is the station that you are referring to) is $3/day or $40/month til the end of the year, $5/day as of 1/1/07. Yahoo Maps says travel time is 54 minutes. I would always give more time just in case. You could always get the R7 to Trenton in Center City if you don't want to drive, which although isn't the fastest way, would be the easiest in my opinion. Junction&parentWnd=parentWnd (NJ Transit) Other Travel Tips you could always drive up to New Brunswick and park for free and take the northeast corridor line into Penn Station, NYC I guess it all depends on where your coming from. If you are closer to Philly, park at 30Th street station and take the train to Penn Station. Parking is a bit more expensive, but the new garage is inside the new conference center building and you walk inside to the train station. Nice in the winter or if you are there early in the morning or late at night for safety. I'm lost......If driving? Why the train? If taking a train, Why Princeton? Why not 30th st or Trenton????? Depending on traffic? A hour+....... |
