Marjorie ("Midge") Osterlund Rendell is a federal judge in Pennsylvania. She was born into a well-to-do Roman Catholic family in Philadelphia.

She has been the First Lady of the state of Pennsylvania since January 21, 2003. After receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a Juris Doctor from Villanova Law School, she practiced as an attorney for twenty years as a partner in the Philadelphia firm of Duane, Morris & Heckscher.

In 1994 she was appointed by President Clinton to the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. In 1997 she was once again nominated by President Clinton, this time for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit where she continues to serve as an appellate judge today. She is also a trustee of the University of Pennsylvania.

And if you think of it, with our track record of sending scumballs to Harrisburg, being in the Top 5 of the all-time PA Slime Hit Parade is quite an accomplishment...no, I am not a Republican, just disgusted with those ill-begotten, inbred specimens of backyard fungus that run this state.
You mean besides being Ed's wife? She is a lawyer and had been a judge before Ed became Governor. I think it depends about the gambling. They just approved casino gambling in the state, but you still can't use a bookie--legally.
