What is the best way to go from Philadelphia to Harrisburg without driving? |
Travel Info I live in Philly, and I'm supposed to see a concert on Saturday in Harrisburg (actually, in Grantham, but I was planning on taking Amtrak to Harrisburg). I need to be able to leave Harrisburg/Grantham late. Near 10-11 PM. Public transportation? Travel Tips Good luck with that. Amtrak schedules in PA are pretty limited and your only other option is probably going to be Greyhound or a similar intercity bus carrier, which probably isn't going to leave you with great choices in terms of times either. You might be able to get a cheap flight, but the ground transportation costs (cabs) on each end would kill you. - - - My guess is that what you are trying to do is not achievable via public transportation.
