Who in Philly has the best cheesesteaks? Why?

Travel Tips
You have to go and find out for yourself. I'm partial to Tony Luke's, though some swear by the big 3....Pat's, Geno's or Jim's. All of them are OK in certain instances, but for the most part, you really need to try them all. Typically, you can find the best, or at least very good steaks at the corner pizza/hoagie/steak shops in all of the different neighborhoods. I'd actually be curious to know how many places actually make a cheesesteak...I'll bet there are 1000s in Philly alone.

pat's cause he's less cocky than that geno dude.
Geno's. He may be cocky, but at least he stands up for what he believes in. And his food is just better.
Jim's on South St. He just makes a good steak and isn't caught up in the Passyunk Ave. rivalry that exists between Pat and Geno.
Gooey Louie in south philly. The steaks are generous and good quality beef. Hmmm.
JIMS!
D'Alessandros on Henry Ave in Roxborough!
