Philadelphia Eagles are now treating Jeff Garcia? |
Travel Info like crap....it doesn't pay to work hard on the job.........I play video games 90 percent of the time at work Travel Tips he is going to be offered multiple starting QB jobs, he'd be a retard to: A) remain a backup when there are teams offering him a starting job B) stay for less money, as a backup he would make around 2-3 mill, as a starter, he would make 7+ mill eagles would be just wasting everyone's time by thinking they could sign garcia for chump change. Others I don't think that's the case at all. He was a good quarterback and people on both sides realize it. Fact of the matter is, he's capale of being someone's starting quarterback, but since he's not getting McNabb's job, the Eagles' gave him the chance to look for that starting position elsewhere, instead of being a back-up who sits there and wonders, "what if...?". If he were truly interested in staying a back-up for low-pay, then I'd be upset they let him go, but he's going to go elsewhere and look for more money. Besides, have you seen his wife? I can't imagine a back-up salary is going to keep her around for too long. We should be ashamed of ourselves! Good Luck, Garcia and THANKS! Typical Eagles move....totally lacking class, and another reason why they won't and shouldn't win a Super Bowl under this regime. Karma sucks when you abuse it. And by the way Tim, rest assured Jeff Garcia never spent much time playing video games while working....in fact anyone who has a job for any length of time or hopes to progress beyond $7.50 an hour positions won't either. I'm more of a "band wagon" type myself, but I can't believe how nasty they are being to him. They never would have made it into the playoffs let alone go as far as they did if McNabb hadn't gotten hurt and Garcia hadn't stepped up. I suppose McNabb is their main guy and they have to keep him like that, but just dissing Garcia? That's just wrong! |
