What is the weather like in Philadelphia during March? |
Travel Info Is it too cold? Could it be snowy? Travel Tips March is a very interesting month for the weather in Philadelphia. Some years, there is a lot of snow (we've even had some blizzards in the '90s!). Other years, spring has started in March and the weather has been cool and sunny. This year, the entire winter has had unpredictable weather. Just last week, it was nice enough to wear jeans and a t-shirt, however we just got snow and a winter weather mix (snow, ice and rain) the other day. If you are planning to visit the area during March this year, I advise you to pack clothes that would be good for both types of weather, and check a weather service (either weather.com or nbc10.com or kyw1060.com [local tv and radio station websites])...however the predictions are not always 100% accurate. hope this helps!! I live near philly In philly is like any where else near it its mild weather i guess. cuz whatever they have I have and usually its not that cold oits March so it will start to warm up Having lived there for most of my life, March can have huge snowstorms or be in the 60's. It's totally unpredictable. The average temp is in the 40's though. hope for the best, be prepared for the worst. i lived in PA for a while and had to go to philly a lot. i remember going in march a few years ago for a college thing and it was 12 degrees. and windy like chicago. but sunny and beautiful otherwise! hahah.... |
