If you have kids, the Franklin Institute is a real blast (you might enjoy it even if you don't have kids). Independence Hall, near where the Liberty Bell is kept, is also an interesting stop. Other great places to go--The Philadelphia Art Museum, (you can run up the steps like Rocky for your fifteen minutes of cliched fame), Betsy Ross' House, Edgar Allen Poe's House, and even Chinatown. If you are looking for something slightly less "educational," South Street has some good nightlife and a lot of restaurants and bars. Enjoy your trip!
