What is the fastest route to Pittsburgh from Lewisburg, PA? |
Travel Info Please don't give me the Google maps or Mapquest results, they send you on a traffic lighted highway for more than a 1/3rd of the trip! I'm hoping someone who knows the area will be able to help me out, would I take 99 down to 76, or 80 to 79? Or are there any faster roads than the William Penn Highway? Thanks for your help Travel Tips You know you're across the river from PA 147 so take PA 45 east to PA 147 North. Take PA 147 North to I-80 West Take I-80 West to I-79 South (all toll free) Take I-79 South to I-279 South right into downtown Pittsburgh. Other than local lights needed to get out of Lewisburg, you will not see a light until Pittsburgh. I thought about I-99 to I-76 but you're going too far south and you pay tolls on I-76. |
