Travel Tips it depends. if you're from a big city like nyc or la, you might get bored quick. if you are from a small town, it's not as crazy as a big city but still has enough to keep you busy... Others I loved it. Was really nice to go to a city where the history of our country has been kept. Did the tour of Independence Hall, Museum of Art, stood in a long line to see the Liberty Bell, and most importantly, got myself a Philly Cheese Steak sandwich and a Hoagie! well, im a jersey girl about 15 min from philly...and its a nice city very different from New York..wayyyyy less crowded and cleaner. olde city is the place to go for the heart of the city... head down passyunk for pats (as seen on rocky) or genos (2 very popular places for the best cheesesteaks...or check out tony lukes on oregon, jims on south... good bars in olde city. nice people, great city, not overly large or crowded. close to other cool areas such as Atlantic City (1hr), baltimore (hr1/2), NYC (2hrs) roughly. The traffic is terrible and the streets are crowded. If you find a praking place you will be lucky. But if you can get past the parking, there is a lot to do. live in the area |
