Travel Info Hello, I am interested in moving to PA. I would like to know good Cities to live in and raise my children. If you could tell me the zip code that would be great! Thanks Everyone! Travel Tips Center City is not safe! Not part of Philly is safe actually, some just are not bad as others. Bucks County and Monmouth County are pretty decent. www.buckscounty.org and www.montcopa.org. indiana,pa is also pretty decent and cheap, but a little near pittsburg. Note, bucks county can be very expensive. But overall nice, minus bristol,pa Others Well, my friend lives in Pittsburgh-in Mt. Washington. It has a very rich Italian heritage-I heard they close down everything early except restaurants on Sundays, because it's time to spend with family. It's obviously located by the moutains. I think you'll love it-good luck. Phily? been there, and it was nice-got to visit the liberty bell, but eh. right here in center city near everything Better towns include State College, Harrisburg (outside of the city), and the Philly suburbs. These towns are better for employment and are safer places to raise a family. Pittsburgh is not too bad, you just have to be careful which neighborhoods to live in...plus the job market is not the best. Stay away from Reading and Altoona...both pretty rough towns that don't have the best employment market. mount laurel and the outer suburbs. you might as well stay where you are because it snows like crazy up here bad weather bad crime...murders ...rapes...missing children |
