Is the "Badlands" of philly really that bad? |
Travel Info im thinkin bout goin up there to score some "tickets to the game" Travel Tips They talk about it in this article: http://www.philadelphiaweekly.com/view.p... Its the Top 10 Drug Corners in Philadelphia. The Badlands area is number 2. Others Dunno about Philly. Live in a place called Felony Flats in Portland. In 3 years, only 1 punk tried to break into my truck. I'd say...go for it. What the worse that could happen? I live in philly and its no worse than what you find in any other city. There are really nice areas and some not-so-nice parts. I enjoy it and have no complaints, and dont intend on moving to another city. i live in philly and i wouldnt Well I live in 'Badlands" & yeh its pretty bad. If you live here you get used to it. But if you don't you can be caught by suprise. Don't go to north Philly. Besides when you pull out your $$ they might just rob u & keep the "tickets". Seriously, if your not from here they know & treat you worse. Its not worth it. Also if cops can tell you are not from here, they might watch you & arrest you. No offense but they love to arrest the Temple kids that come here to by w**d. I see it all the time. Uh.... Not exactly a place to be taking a stroll. The lands are basically east of the Broad and west of Kensington. Mixed Latin white black area. Poor as hell. Lot of drugs ( thats changed a bit). If your asking, then you really need to stay in the 'burbs. It's not Radnor or Wynnwood for sure.... The "badlands" is not as bad as it was about 5 years ago, but it's still a pretty hardcore area. You can score some "tickets to the game" there but no tickets to the real ball game. |
