Travel Info What cities would you recommend to live in for a family moving to Southern/Central Buck's County, PA? Why? Travel Tips Overall the best neighborhoods in Bucks County are in the Council Rock (Newtown Township, Newtown Borough, Upper Makefield Township, Northampton Township), Central Bucks (Doylestown Borough, Doylestown Township, Chalfont Borough, Buckingham Township) and New Hope-Solebury (New Hope Borough, Solebury Township) school districts. (But they are also mega-expensive - about $400,000 is pretty much the starting price for single family homes). Another nice but not so pricey area would be the Neshaminy School District (Middletown Township, Lower Southampton Township, Hulmeville Borough, Penndel Borough, Langhorne Borough). The following map shows the school districts http://www.bucksiu.org/aboutus/schools/... They are all safe, family friendly communties with lots of open green space and some of the best school districts in the state. In particular, I think that Newtown is one of the family-friendliest areas in that they often host many family friendly events (a coupleof these include: Welcome Day (http://www.newtownbpa.org/), First Fourth (http://www.newtownfirstfourth.com/),... First Night (http://www.firstnightnewtown.com/).... Others i live there and it is just exelent they are curently building a new strip mall right off of 611 and there is everything you need there |
