McNabb aka McMillions aka MCChoker was hurt. He coming off a bad injury. I think he will get hurt again. The other teams don't like the Eagles they are going for McNabb and try to get him again.. I give him 3 or 4 months before he gets hurt. Why did they let go of Garcia and get antoher quarterback? We need Defense damit....
I think Andy is thinking long term. But we want to go to the SuperBowl sometime soon in my life time I been waiting for over 20 years!! Source(s): PS When the going gets tuff McMillions takes off.

I do not think the Eagles are stupid or irrational. When you take into account that McNabb has failed to finish the regular season in three of the last five years, you definitely need a good Plan B, and in some cases a Plan C.

Drafting a QB does not mean McNabb's days are numbered either. This is the NFL, any play could be somebody's last, and if you are not equipped to lose any of your players, you will be in serious trouble.
The Philadelphia Eagles are always looking to get young. Ever since Andy Reid has come to the team they have been a very good scouting team. The Eagles have players right now that were scouted through talent. Lets go back to the 1999 draft when Ricky Williams was on the board and the Eagles took Donovan McNabb. Look at the success the he has had ever since. Look at Westbrooke, Brown, Dawkins, Sheppard, Trotter, Smith... they are players who at the time were over looked, but now they are stars. What I'm trying to say is, yes, McNabb is getting older and age is catching up with him, but the Eagles need to win...now! McNabb is the man, he is a leader and a veteran. The Eagles are watching their backs right now. In the past five years the Eagles didn't have a strong back up quaterback. Yes, they all stepped up and played great but even last year they cut Detmer. They need a back up so he can learn from Donovan and be the next McNabb.
