While riding the greyhound bus how long does it take to get from south Philadelphia to Harrisburg? |
Travel Info from Philadelphia to Harrisburg Travel Tips Greyhound takes about 4 hours to Harrisburg. re: it takes this long b/c of the stops it makes, plus the time it may take to load ppl on and off and to have a "break." Greyhound is cheap, but does take twice as long. :) Source(s): ridden greyhound. Other Travel Tips 4 hours sounds about right...the train is under two hours and not very expensive. approximately 3 1/2 hours as it is about 100 miles from Philly. 4 hours sounds a little long. I've never taken the Greyhound, but the Amtrak takes about 2 hours, including stops. I've driven it by car many times in just under 2 hours. According to Greyhound's Web site, it takes about 2 hours. These are express schedules that have no stops in between. There are a couple of schedules that take almost 2.5 hours, but that's because they stop in King of Prussia. Greyhound.com |
