Travel Tips Art museum, Academy of Music, Walnut Street Theatre, Philadelphia Zoo, public library, Mutters Museum (medical inventions and other interesting artifacts and displays related to medicine), Liberty Bell (still has that crack in it ;) Independence Hall, Franklin Institute (after Benjamin Franklin who discovered electricity among other talents and inventions), and Betsy Ross House (she is said to have made the American flag). Perhaps you can find any of these places by logging onto www.yahoo.com and even find other places and landmarks by typing into search 'fun things' (or 'landmarks') and philadelphia, pa' or such. Have a lot of fun and an educational experience as well! Philly is supposed to be filled with so much culture and historic places. Others Drink under 21 so what There are many Night Clubs in Philadelphia there so much to do here. We have plenty of malls, shopping centers, arcades, restaurants, & movie theaters. I live here. You can go bowling at Lucky Strikes, the movies, Dave and Buster's, shopping in the Gallery, or just hanging down South Street. You gotta hit the Mutter Museum on the west side of Philly's downtown. It will gross you out, but as college students, it is a must do. Also, I would recommend the Eastern State Pen. for something different. go for something different than the Liberty Bell. |
