Is the Ghost Tour of Philadelphia worth it? |
Travel Info I am a 23 year old male, on a limited budget, getting ready to leave the city and I'm trying to take advantage of everything before I go. Is the Ghost Tour worth the $15 for someone my age? Is it scary or historical? Interesting? Travel Tips Nah I wouldnt do it. My mom and brother did it last year (we live in Philly) and they said it wasnt scary at all. I would recommend the Lights of Liberty tour. Its a walking tour at night wearing a headset. I went to it 2 summers ago and I thought it was awesome. The project these light shows on the historical buildings and they all correspond with whats playing on your headset. The best is the war in the park. All this smoke and gunfire sound. Totally worth the money. http://www.lightsofliberty.org/main.htm... Others Determine when the Ghost Tour starts and casually walk 5-8 feet behind it. If they look at you look away and point to a building. Actually it's OK. More historical with ghost stories, but not scary. A nice date option. I understand you're on a budget but it's all relative. $15 is not that much considering some options. Not really, I got bored and left No, it's rather boring and trite. They take you to a few boring sites and tell really corny, silly and, worst of all, boring ghost stories about each one. Blah. Then again, it's pretty cheap. Your call. |
