What makes one missing child more important than another? |
Travel Info Why aren't more PA newspapers carrying this story? This happened in Philadelphia a Missing Little boy on May 29th 2007. The little girl missing in Spain. If you see this little boy call the Philadelphia police. I hope they find him. I submitted on the travel Category because I hope more Philadelphians read this and help keep an eye for him. Travel Tips No child should be deemed more important than another. It's a shame that your papers aren't covering his disappearance with the same zealousness that Madeline's is being covered. I hope they find him too, and hats off to you for being so vigilant. Others this is really unfair but it always happens, people that are in the UK or are UK residents get paid more attention to that other living in the UK, you can't stop it because newspapers don't care unless its about "their" people ... its sucks ... i know but its the way it goes Sad but true that this happens...it seems the factors are social status and skin color first and foremost Parents persistence. Keep after them. Call the local news stations. I think it is all part of the haves and the have nots, personally. The McCann thing is sad, but no more sad than any other child abduction or disappearance. What burns me up about the McCann thing is that the parents left the children in a hotel room in a FOREIGN COUNTRY and went to dinner. It seems that everyone is making the excuses for them - - but if they had stayed with their children, the little girl would most likely be safe now. I hope they find this little girl and the little boy in Philly. I can only think about how scared and alone the children are - - Depends on whether the parents are aggressive and enlist the help of the media. Can the parents grab the media's attention? Is there some part of the case that the media think they can sell on tv so that people will be interested? Are the parents rich? Are the parents local celebrities? Are they weird in some way? Do the police suspect the parent/s? It's all about if the media thinks it can grab people's attention...sell more newspapers etc. As with anything it depends on how much follow up the parents do and if they really work hard getting the news out. Plus Depends on how they spend there money promoting there loss. Usually the old story is the squeaky wheel will generally get greased 1st and better than the others... Sad isn't it!!!
