Travel Info It's my birthday and me and my fiancee want to take off work and do something fun or romantic, doesn't matter we want to do anything!!! Any ideas???? Travel Tips There are alot of things you can do..... the Art Museum Walk along boat house row Me and my fiance usually go downtown earlyier in the day, and park at this garage on 11th street near the family court building and then we just slowly walk.... we walk all through town, the gallery, all the way down to South Street, along the river then back. Go to McCormick and Schmick for lunch (over by city hall), the have really good food and it can be romantic. Just spend the day doing everything you normally wouldn't. You end up noticing alot of things that you would take for granted on any other rushed day. Others Go to dinner at the Rose Tattoo on Callowhill Street, then take a swing over to the Franklin Institute to see the King Tut exhibit. I believe on Wed. the musuem stays open late; or take a late dinner at McCormick's and Schmicks and take a romantic stroll along Penn's Landing. Romantic getaway in Center City Philly. Why not? Lot's to do and a fun way of re-discovering your hometown. A good day to take in the museums, have a cheesesteak for lunch at Jim's on South St., and then maybe a romantic dinner at one of the many ethnic restaurants in Center City. Have fun, and enjoy the day! |
