Best July 4th Fireworks in PA? |
Travel Info I want to watch the fireworks in PA. Where is the best place to go? Travel Tips I imagine that the Pittsburgh fireworks are cool because of the layout of the city and it's rivers. I've seen little firework displays and like a laser light show or something off of the banks and it was really cool. I have to say though, outside of Washington DC (more for the atmosphere than anything) Philly has some of the best I've ever seen. They're usually over the Delaware River or over the Art Museum. Either way, there are a ton of spots to catch them from...just try to get there early, like 6 or 7 or something. Others If you are in Philadelphia, take the three hour drive down to Washington DC and go to Arlington near the Marine Corps Memorial. By far the best place in the nation to watch a fireworks display! Get there early though! Sorry I cannot help you with Philly though :( PIttsburgh has fireworks on the POINT where the 3 rivers meet. They are great Penn's Landing!!!! It's in Philadelphia on the waterfront. It's spectacular!! |
