Is the Italian neighborhood of Philadelphia (South Philly), expensive?

Travel Tips
I wouldn't sya it is too expensive, but some places ask for a bit much when you get near south street and all. washington ave i heard is expensive, and doesn't look like what it is worth, but I love my city, you just have to find a nice person to take you out house shopping.
Others
No, and it's a great experience to visit, from the Cheese Steaks (Wit & Wit Wiz) to the Coffee Shops for a Cappachino and a Gelato and all the Shops and local flavor.
Go and have a great time.
No, not really pricey. By the way, not very Italian anymore. They all moved to the 'Burbs & NJ over the last 25 years.
