Can anyone recommend some good restaurants in the Drexel Hill area?

Travel Info
I am looking for restaurants in Drexel Hill and the surrounding area... Broomall, Havertown, Upper Darby, Lansdowne, Springfield, etc. I like trying new places of all types and I have searched online for restaurant reviews in Delaware Co. and keep finding a lot in Media but little else. Any suggestions?

Travel Tips
I'm up in Broomall so I've tried a bunch of local places.

My favorite one is the Oakmont National Pub in Havertown, on Eagle Road near Darby Road. Good food and Paulener hefeweizen on tap.

There's a Ruby Tuesday's at Manoa Shopping Center which is OK - my wife and daughters like it so we go there fairly often. Same for the Charlie Brown's steak house on Baltimore Pike in Springfield near Target, and an Outback almost across the street. I'm not crazy about national chains as a rule but they are always popular with everyone else at my house.

Barnaby's (a local chain, but this was their original location, I think) on West Chester Pike near the Blue Route is OK, they have a nice outdoor deck (but I don't think they have food service on the deck) and a decent menu.

Westgate Pub on West Chester Pike is OK for food but the tables are SO close together that you feel like you could chat with the people on either side of you.

J. B. Dawson's is a pretty good place at Pilgrim Garden's Shopping Center on Township Line.

If you can make it over to Ardmore, try Vinny T's (a Boston based chain mostly located in New England)). The portions are enormous and the food is very good - I like the pizza.

If you can, take a drive to Manayunk and try the Manayunk Brew Pub - nice atmosphere, good food and they brew on the premises. Source(s): http://www.oakmontnationalpub.com/...

Try a web site www.chowhound.com. That is all they discuss on that web site - good restaurants.
