Travel Info What are the best areas in Pittsgurgh, PA to live in? Preferrably close do dtwn? Travel Tips Shadyside is the classic better urban neighborhood...close to Carnegie Mellon and University of Pittsburgh with well kept homes. If going for the up and coming neighborhood, I would pick Lawrenceville (if Pittsburgh has an up and coming neighborhood). Other choices include Squirrel Hill, Regent Square, and Mt. Washington. Others In a cardboard box out on the pavement outside Mellon Arena....or maybe somewhere on the south side, make sure you dont move into a box that is already occupied tho, you could get knifed. The Squirrel Hill area rocks!!! Lots of different cultures, lots of great food, lots to do. If I were to move back to the Pittsburgh, it's exactly where I'd go. Depends what you can afford. Do you already live there? I love Edgewood/Regent Square/Squirrel Hill, Lawrenceville .... everywhere I miss the city I love! Cranberry has lots to do and is still a nice neighborhood |
