Can you tell me where in PA we should move? |
Travel Info Me and my husband (and two preschoolers) are thinking of moving to PA from Miami Beach, FL. We have no idea which parts are good/bad. This is what we are looking for: Good schools, affordable housing (home for 200k or less w/ 3 bedrooms), quiet neighborhood but close to city. We dont want a collegetown, we arent into clubs or nightlife. We mainly want a nice, quiet, scenic place to live with friendly people and good schools. I want a change from the busy lifestyle here in Miami but am not looking for a place where Walmart is the "hot spot". Please tell me which cities to look into as well as typical day in that city (if youre from there) We are in mid 20's. Thanks so much. Travel Tips New Holland, Litiz are close to Lancaster ,Harrisburg ,Philiadelphia and Baltimore. it is in Amish country but it is quite affordable , has good schools and safe but it might be too "hickish" for you but you schould look into it Others Anywhere in Springfield township!! You can catch a train into Philly and the school districts are amazing. I live in Landowne Pa just outside of Philadelphia in Delaware County. Check it out! Very friendly area. All of the cities have nice suburbs. I grew up in the South Hills of Pittsburgh and really enjoyed it. Because of the rivers and Mt. Washington, you are seperated from the city and would never know it was there... but then it's just a ride over a bridge away! I know Philly also has nice suburbs like West Chester. Good Luck. Wilkes-barre good place alot thing to see in the city downtown the square has like a small festive a good school their is height Murry their wal-mart supercenter a raceway nascar it in pocono not alot of crime it quiet good camping or fishing ground house are less i think the major is very nice he try to put up new thing never go to hazleton their immigration i hoped i help I am fond of and moving to the West Shore - near Harrisburg, PA. The cities of Camp Hill, Mechanicsburg, Marysville. They are close enough to Harrisburg for work, but not IN Harrisburg. Good schools. Affordable. I would say in one of the burbs' close to Philadelphia. Very nice towns, good schools, and still close enough to the city. Also still close to NYC, DC or the Jersey shore. Don't go anywear near Pittsburgh, blah boringgggggg! I lived there for many years. |
