Anyone familiar with the Waynesboro, PA area?

Anyone familiar with the Waynesboro PA area? Is it nice, racist, quiet? I am thinking of moving there but not if it is hostile.

I have passed through the town on a number of occasions and did not see anything racist - in fact, the town is growing quickly with the recent addition of a Wal-Mart Supercenter.

Housing prices are likely to skyrocket given that it is a 40 minute drive from Frederick, MD and 30 minutes from Hagerstown via PA 16 and I-81.

Waynesboro is not racist, but it is a conservative small town in Pennsylvania's Bible Belt (Franklin County and most of the PA Dutch area). As the other poster suggested, Waynesboro is seeing growth because of people moving out of the Washington DC area looking for lower housing costs.
