Where is a good place?

Travel Info
I'm wondering, which suburb of Philadelphia is a good place to live. I'm planning on moving there like next March - early April with my mom. I'm wanting to move there, but I'm thinking not directly in the city of Philadelphia. Can anyone give me suggestions?

Some areas I was looking at was King of Prussia, Horsham, and Levittown, but I wasn't too sure. I was also looking at maybe northeast philly, but in a suburb area. I wasn't too sure if that would be a good place to live as far as regions. I hope someone can help me, please? :D

Travel Tips
If you want the immediate outskirts of Philly, go to Chestnut Hill. Great area to live in and your only 18 minutes by regional rail from center city. The train station is right on the main street. King of Prussia, the traffic is horrible! Horsham which is in Montgomery County is alright, but family orientated. Doylestown, also New Hope which are in Bucks County are my choices but the commute is about a hour and 15 minutes by car and a hour by train into center city. But the scenery and schools are some of the best in the nation.
Others
All of my family lives in Northeast Philly and it's a nice area. The Levittown area is nice, and so is the Chalfont area. The others you mentioned are also really nice places as well.
Try looking in Lower Bucks County. Towns like Levittown, Langhorne, Feasterville, Bristol, Morrisville, Richboro, Newtown, Yardley. These towns range from apartment complexes to million dollar homes but are all fairly nice and much safer than the city.
Well somerton isnt too bad.. was better years back but for being in northeast philly , its not bad..
I recommend bucks county though .. Lahaska is pretty nice.. there are some pretty close places to Philly (scenic) which you don't hear the hustle and bustles of the city and its not too far off either
I really like bucks county [=
Montgomery County:The Hatboro/Horsham area is really nice. In Hatboro there are two train stations into Philly, closeby shopping areas, Upper Moreland (Hatboro) school district is good if needed. ----Bucks Co: is close by with Warminster, Warington, & Doylestown. I don't know much about King of Prussia or Levittown.
If you're still in school, by all means stay OUT of the city of Philadelphia. The school system is terrible and unsafe.

King of Prussia is very expensive; Horsham is expensive but reasonable.
dont be scared south philly is where its at.. youll be suprised how nice it can be if you get a good block, friendly neighbors, plenty to do. north east philly is nice too... and from what ive seen traffic in king of prussia is worse than downtown.

just fyi
