Travel Info My friend and I are going to be in Philly for four days. What should we do, where should we go for fun, day and night? We are 17 and 18 years old, so no bars and such. We enjoy running around, having adventures, museums, parks, theater, that sort of thing. Good wholesome fun. Also, e like to dance, especialy to techno. Is there an under 18 type club anywhere? Travel Tips well, the Shampoo Nightclub turns into Nocturne on Wednesdays, and its mainly a Goth/80s type of club, which is all ages with a room for Drinkers, thats the only one I could think of so far. So, here's some things I can remember, Fairmount Park The Franklin Institute Mutter Museum (weird museum, but cool) The Art Museum Avenue of the Arts (all of your musical needs are on this street and...) Walnut & Locust Rittenhouse Square (another park) Those are all I can think of. Source(s): I go to Philly every now and then since its 12 minutes away from where I am. Other Travel Tips There is an under 18 club called shampoo night club google it they have a website. I would also recomend having a pats or genos cheese steak look directions up on the internet as well. The art musem is amazing here so i would go vist that. Also the Franklin Institute is a science musem with all kinds of exhibts that you can go in to and experice. Chinatown is a good time along with a visit to South Street, Pat's & Geno's, Independence Hal & Liberty Bell, and the shops around Rittenhouse Square are fun too. If you have never seen the Liberty Bell or Independence Hall, its a must. If you like art the Art Museum is fantastic, but its a huge collection and it will take you most of the day to go through. The zoo is nice and South Street is great with all of its funky shops, restaurants and galleries. Also, check to see if anything is going on at Penns Landing - they have all kinds of festivals and stuff down there. Have fun! Philly is full of museums. IF you just want to run around and have fun - go to Dave and Busters and then I think Club (used to be Egypt) has an under 21 night... everyone else is right. you have to walk along South Street though, I can describe it as busy, but fun. All the stores there are awsome there's poster stores, music stores, they have concerts down there one time. I was supposed to go to a Zero 7 concert but missed it. The prices for that are reasonable. Or see a comedy show. but like I said the above answers are also good. |
