Travel Info Is virginity a big issue in Philippines? Why? Travel Tips Not a travel question but I'll answer. Honestly, I dont think it's a big issue anywhere in the world nowadays, except maybe in some very primitive societies such as tribals or communities that are alienated from modern civilization. Pre-marital sex is also prevalent but with varying degrees even in some of the most conservative societies of the world, such as the Arab, India, Moslem and Chinese, to name a few. Some women lose it because they are too young to know what they are doing. Others are raped or forced into sex by somebody they are close to- friend or relative. I'm not a Filipino/ Filipina but I'm sure that even in that country, it would be love and affection between two people that matters morethan what I would describe as a piece of flesh that can be broken by bicycling or swimming or some other activity unrelated to sex. My ex, a Filipina, was one, but I dont care if any future partner from anywhere in the Philippines is a virgin or not. It hardly matters. Others Virginity! What's that? you seem to be talking about some word from stone age Yes, because so few of the female population are virgins Mabuhay! I think those who stay virgin until they get married is only 4 out of 10 Filipinos nowadays. 鈾-^鈾? Yes and No.....It used to be a big deal coz of our deeply-ingrained religious beliefs. Nowadays, I honestly don't know anymore. I'm curious as to what our menfolks (Pinoys only) have to say about this. it was a big deal for me. i only had sex to my husband 2 years ago...on our honeymoon. it still depends on the person's choice, and how deeply rooted she is on her moral and self value. yes, it is for devout Catholics and some other people. It really depends what values a person has, or religious beliefs, too. |
