Travel Tips It's because Philippines is one of the biggest internet users in the world, the largest English-speaking country in Asia and there are Hundreds of Millions of Filipinos around the world. Yes, Philippines is one of the best and interesting places in Asia. Others umm i think it's because a lot of filipinos use yahoo...taking a wild guess. 'coz there are lots of interesting trolls here!!! joke. i think, filipinos love doing recreational past time and naturally friendly. yahoo phils is a way a good recreational site and also good site for having friends... the number says it all. many relatives in USA, that means that ostentatious people like Americans can reach those travels. Because right now its day in the Philippinese and English is spoken widely in the Philippines, and thus a lot of Filipinos may be using yahoo answers right now. good luck. Frankly speaking, eventhough Im a Swiss, I really appreciate the hospitality in that country. Pretty much adventures to do in their plentiful of islands too (Someone mentioned to me that there are 7000? I guess)... Swimming beaches (Boracay), diving reefs(palawan), mountaineering (Mt.Apo), river boats (cagayan), heritage (Banaue Rice Terraces, Chocolate Hills, Kawasan Falls, Baguio's Taal Volacano, Mayon), shopping (Ive been to their huge malls like Mall of Asia), fishing, treking, Enchanted Kingdom (well Disneyland is obviously way better), cheap things in Divisoria and Greenhills market amazed me... and more. Its a whole lot different than the other countries in Asia. Almost everyone speaks english and most of them are Christian influenced with their beautiful spanish architecture cathedrals (Cebu's Basilicas and Cathedral). The art is more of Spanish influenced which makes their country one of a kind in Asia. They also have different looks... than other parts of Asia.... I guess...That was just based on experience. I miss this country! I know that a lot of them also is very active with computers.... So many Filipinos I have seen going online... chatting and browsing. |
