Others the first Filipino I know to have so many names in his full name: Jose Protacio Rizal Mercado y Alonso Realonda I don't think that he is considered to be the first Filipino but I do think that he is considered to be the first Filipino hero Who said that? 1st filipino hero to stand up againts a foreign power through his pen, i think WHAT? In what category he was the first. He was not the first Filipino to go overseas. He was not the first Hero, we got a lot infact. He may have a long name but not the first, also that's common, shot I got four name myself. The first Filipino are our ancestors the Ati's, Aeta's, Manobos, Lapulapu (who decapitated Magellan stand-up against the Spaniards?) and etc. We need to re-live our history and cover everybody, not just JPR. no he is da national hero for da Philippines. |
